Eilon Paz’s 416-page coffee-table book illuminates over 130 vinyl collectors and their collections in the most intimate of environments—their record rooms. With a foreword by the RZA, compelling photographic essays are paired with in-depth interviews to illustrate what motivates record collectors to keep digging for more records.

Readers get an up close and personal look at a variety of well-known vinyl champions as well as a glimpse into the collections of known and unknown DJs, producers, record dealers, and everyday enthusiasts. The book is divided into two main parts: the first features 250 full-page photos framed by captions and select quotes, while the second consists of 12 full-length interviews that delve deeper into collectors’ personal histories and vinyl troves.

  1. Guillaume Saintillan (Plexus Records)

Just received the book for my shop for the RSD… it’s one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen in my life, seriously it’s amazing !!!

Splendid pictures and colors, perfect selection and tastes… it’s a new bible for record lovers and more…

Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to have it in my small shop !!!

  2. Andres Jimenez (Open Crates)

I was a believer from the “kick-start”, glad to say the book is bigger and badder than I anticipated. We all have stories and memories of our digging adventures. But reading about these heavyweights in physical form is a true pleasure. The photos are fantastic, the layout & design is on point. What more can you ask for?! Get this book ASAP! Much love!! Stay Diggin, #OpenCrates

  3. Marc Hughes

This is truly, TRULY one of the most beautiful books I’ve ever seen. This book will go down in history as THE document of the current record collecting community. It’s filled with stunning photography, great stories and wonderful profiles of some of the most passionate people in the world, record nerds. It’s and an unbelievable treasure! Peace and SOUL…

  7. Jeff Chandler

It took two years from the time I invested in the Kickstarter for this book and it has truly been well worth the wait.
This piece of art is a joy to behold with absolutely superb images, design and text.
It is such a privilege to be permitted into the world of other collectors and I feel rather envious of Eilon that he has actually been with these special people and their treasures.

“Congratulations!” on such a truly fun, fine and fascinating journey into the many and varied personal joys of record collecting! Wow! You really did a tremendous job with this book. It is a lovely work of analog art. I’ve also enjoyed your stories and photos online for a long time and look forward to more please. Cheers!

P.S. “Congratulations!” too on your 5 star review in “Record Collector” magazine – June, 2014.

As soon as I saw this fantastic book reviewed in the current issue of TONEAudio magazine, I ordered it. This is truly an outstanding book! Lavishly illustrated with creative photos of awesome record collections and their owners in the front half of the book, with great interviews of selected record collectors comprising the second half. If you are a record lover and collector, you must have this book! Definitely a collector’s item and a wonderful coffee table book to share with your friends. High quality binding and paper worth every penny!
